Hey new rule, if you send me a PM asking me for an absurd amount of money after I reblog your donation post, I’m just going to assume you’re a scammer and block you especially if you don’t take a straight up no for an answer and continue to beg for money. This has happened to me SEVERAL times and even if you are not a scammer, I don’t have the money to give to every single person I reblog a donation post from as I myself only managed to scrape by on my monthly disability check and the kindness of my dad. I understand we’re living in desperate times but I’m struggling too and I don’t have an infinite amount of money to give to strangers on the internet.
“you don’t owe anyone anything” actually you owe everyone everything!!! you OWE your table server and your coworkers and the elderly person you pass on the street and the dog on its walk and the child toddling along in the park and the driver trying to merge next to you and the pregnant person standing on public transport KINDNESS in return for theirs!! the connections we build are what give life meaning!!!

My roomate and I are disabled and trans and next week we are moving to a place we will be living rent-to-own. This is great for us and will solve a lot of the issues we’ve been running into over and over, but it’s also a lot quicker than we expected, and I expected to be making money from a job I oboarded for by now. Basically we need a lot of help fast to make this happen. We need first months rent there, last weeks here, and as little food as we can live off of + moving costs. I may figure out ways to cover some of this and will update if I do.
